2A District 5 recap November 5, 2013
Meeker added to the longest winning streak in 2A District 5 this week by beating Central, 42-10. The victory was the ninth in a row for the Bulldogs.
Meeker took down the Tigers 42-10 last week, the largest margin of any game. Leven Hendley ran for 125 yards and caught 1 pass for 31 yards during the win.
Dallas Jackson was a passing and rushing force as Mike Hedge's team topped Central.
Brody Enkey put up the best numbers in passing as Haskell bested Wellston. He finished with a total of 7 completions for 139 yards and 2 touchdowns. Enkey's favorite target this week was Dillon Dobbins, who caught 8 passes for 181 yards.
Haskell's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Haymakers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Enkey has thrown for 590 yards and 5 touchdowns this season, while Dobbins has 25 catches for 323 yards.
The Bulldogs are in first place, while Holdenville is in sixth place.
