If the Inspired Vision EAGLES were riding high off their 77-41 takedown of Atlas Prep on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Inspired Vision was outmatched by Madison at home and fell 96-33. While losing is never fun, Inspired Vision can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1460th, while Madison is ranked 522nd).
Despite the loss, Inspired Vision still got an impressive performance from Tyree Sheffield, who scored 18 points. The contest was Sheffield's 19th in a row with at least ten points.
Inspired Vision's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Madison, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-10.
Inspired Vision will head out on the road to face off against A Plus Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. A Plus Academy is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Madison, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Trinity Leadership at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Trinity Leadership focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 last Tuesday.
