The Willsboro Central Warriors will be home for the holidays to greet the Lake Placid Bombers at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The pair have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Willsboro Central and ten for Lake Placid dating back to last season.
Last Friday, Willsboro Central suffered a rough 47-21 defeat at the hands of Chazy.
Meanwhile, Lake Placid might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Wells an easy 46-24 victory.
Willsboro Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Lake Placid, they bumped their record down to 0-5 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.
Willsboro Central might still be hurting after the 52-27 defeat they got from Lake Placid in their previous matchup back in January. Can Willsboro Central avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
