The Millburn Millers will be playing at home against the University Phoenix at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Last Tuesday, Millburn strolled past West Essex with points to spare, taking the game 65-49. Millburn pushed the score to 56-33 by the end of the third, a deficit West Essex cut but never quite recovered from.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Millburn to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zach Benmorits, who scored 17 points. Noah Ravitz was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, University suffered a tough 90-69 defeat at the hands of Orange on Tuesday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (60), University still had to take the loss.
Millburn has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. As for University, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-12.
