For Cheyenne-Eagle Butte, this counts as revenge for the 75-40 defeat Crazy Horse walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.
Cheyenne-Eagle Butte's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Damien Clown, who scored 14 points. Nehemiah Veaux was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 3 steals.
Cheyenne-Eagle Butte's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Crazy Horse, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
