Basketball Recap: Redlands East Valley Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Redlands East Valley challenged Bosco Tech on Saturday. The Redlands East Valley Wildcats were dealt a 70-43 loss at the hands of the Bosco Tech Tigers. The match marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Redlands East Valley lost, don't look at Demaj Moore. Despite the final result, he posted 16 points and five rebounds. The game was Moore's tenth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of London Towns, who had six points and ten rebounds.

Even though they lost, Redlands East Valley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in five consecutive contests.

Redlands East Valley has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season. As for Bosco Tech, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
