This season hasn't been kind to the East Side Red Raiders, who are still winless after their seventh contest. They took a 62-44 bruising from Seton Hall Prep on Thursday. East Side was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Seton Hall Prep apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Seton Hall Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Daniel Beazer, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Another player making a difference was Primo Delgado, who scored ten points along with five assists.
East Side's loss was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-7. As for Seton Hall Prep, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season.
East Side will head out on the road to take on Teaneck at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Teaneck's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six matches. Seton Hall Prep will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Bergen Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on January 13th. Bergen Catholic presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Seton Hall Prep in New Jersey (Bergen Catholic is ranked 11th, while Seton Hall Prep is ranked 192nd).
