Westover Christian Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their matchup on Thursday with ease, bagging a 62-27 win over Christian Heritage Academy. The Bulldogs pushed the score to 50-21 by the end of the third, a deficit the Knights had little chance of recovering from.

Malachi Waller went supernova for Westover Christian Academy, dropping a triple-double on 13 points, 12 boards, and 11 assists. Those 11 assists gave Waller a new career-high. Landon Hardy was another key player, putting up eight points along with five boards and four steals.

Waller wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Westover Christian Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, it may have taken triple overtime to finish the job, but Cave Spring ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They walked away with a 74-66 victory over Christiansburg. The win was some much needed relief for the Knights as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Westover Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.6 points per game. As for Cave Spring, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.
