The Mater Dei Knights won the last time they faced the Carmi-White County Bulldogs, and things went their way on Saturday too. Mater Dei strolled past Carmi-White County with points to spare, taking the game 40-22. Mater Dei pushed the score to 40-14 by the end of the third, a deficit Carmi-White County cut but never quite recovered from.
Mater Dei can attribute much of their success to Trenton Zeeb, who threw for 115 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 80 yards on only six carries.
Mater Dei's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Carmi-White County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-3.
Mater Dei does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Carmi-White County also has no future games currently scheduled.
