Mt. Diablo is  a perfect 4-0 against San Lorenzo since March of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Red Devils will host the Grizzlies  at 4:00  p.m. The two teams are strolling into their  matches after big wins in their previous games.
Mt. Diablo is headed in fresh off scoring the most  runs they have   all season. They put the hurt on Ygnacio Valley with a sharp  21-1 win on Tuesday. The  victory continues a trend for the Red Devils in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won eight in a row.
 Sophie Ramos was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. That  hit marked the first that  she  allowed this season. She was even better at the plate,  scoring three  runs and  stealing four bases while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.

 In other batting news,  Noemi Gil and  Melissa Ceja did most of the damage at the plate:  Gil  scored three  runs and  stole seven bases while going 2-for-3, while  Ceja  scored two  runs and  stole four bases while going 4-for-4. Those  seven  stolen bases gave  Gil a new career-high.  Leif Scallin was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing four bases while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
Meanwhile,  after only one  run in their last  contest, San Lorenzo made sure to put some  runs up on the board against Tennyson  on Thursday. The Grizzlies were the clear victors by  a  22-8 margin over the Lancers. With that  win, the Grizzlies brought their scoring average up to 6.5  runs per game.
San Lorenzo got a  massive  performance out of  Isabel Bolanos, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all five of her plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ellie Ream, who  scored three  runs while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 San Lorenzo  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .636. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
 Mt. Diablo's victory bumped their record up to 2-8. As for San Lorenzo, their  win (their first of the  season) made their record 1-9.
 Everything went Mt. Diablo's way against San Lorenzo in their previous meeting  two weeks ago, as Mt. Diablo made off with  a  16-7 victory. Will the Red Devils repeat their success,  or do  the Grizzlies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
