The Chancellor Chargers can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent game on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Culpeper County 84-38 at home. Chancellor's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Leading Chancellor to victory were Kendall Scott and Natalie Lanning. Scott scored 23 points along with six assists and five steals, while Lanning scored 26 points along with five assists and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lanning has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lydia Brockelbank, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
Despite the defeat, Culpeper County had strong showings from amyah robinson, who scored 21 points along with two steals, and Kelley Hutcherson, who scored nine points along with five rebounds. That was a full 55.3% of Culpeper County's points, marking the ninth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Culpeper County struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
The victory (which was Chancellor's seventh in a row) raised their record to 13-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.4 points per game. As for Culpeper County, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
