Basketball Recap: Wapato's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Wapato won the last time they faced Royal and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wapato Wolves walked away with a 69-56 win over the Royal Knights. The victory was nothing new for the Wolves as they're now sitting on three straight.

Wapato pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for Royal, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wapato will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Grandview at 1:00 p.m. on December 28th. As for Royal, they will head out to challenge Wahluke at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Royal knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Wahluke likes a good challenge.
