The R.J. Reynolds Demons will be playing at home against the Glenn Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The pair have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for R.J. Reynolds and eight for the Bobcats.
R.J. Reynolds pushed their score all the way to 61 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 68-61 to Parkland.
The match pitted two dominant guards against one another in Antoine Jones Jr. and Joshua Moore. Moore had a solid game and dropped a double-double on 12 points and 15 rebounds. Meanwhile, Jones Jr. was balling out in the loss, scoring 22 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Meanwhile, Glenn pushed their score all the way to 56 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a hard 70-56 fall against West Forsyth. Glenn has struggled against the Titans recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
R.J. Reynolds dropped their record down to 9-10 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Glenn, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost 11 of their last 14 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.
R.J. Reynolds beat the Bobcats 48-35 in their previous meeting back in January. Will R.J. Reynolds repeat their success, or do the Bobcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
