Castlewood will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Honaker at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Castlewood had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 8-37 punch to the gut against Patrick Henry last Friday. Castlewood were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-31.
Meanwhile, Honaker took care of business in their home opener. They took their contest against Lebanon last week 35-28.
Honaker's win lifted them to 1-0 while Castlewood's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Honaker can add another positive mark to their record or if Castlewood can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Honaker's step.
