Make it five blowout wins for the Cunningham Wildcats this season. They put the hurt on South Barber with a sharp 60-36 win on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Cunningham also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Luke Albers continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 25 points along with six rebounds and six steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Luke McGuire, who scored 14 points.
Cunningham's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for South Barber, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.
Cunningham will be playing in front of their home fans against Stafford on Tuesday. South Barber will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Attica on January 30th.
