Wolfe County lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Dalton Voils, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Corey Flinchum, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds.
Knott County Central is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. As for Wolfe County, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.
Knott County Central will head out on the road to take on the Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wolfe County, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. on February 3rd. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Kentucky (Betsy Layne is ranked 132nd, while the Wolves are ranked 143rd).
