AAA Region 3 recap November 19, 2013
Washington County extended the longest winning streak in AAA Region 3 this week by beating Johnson, 56-7. This was the team's 10th consecutive win.
Washington County took down the Atomsmashers 56-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Swainsboro's Korey Somerville and Michael Franklin have proven to be a lethal combination. Somerville has thrown for 518 yards this season, while Franklin has 6 catches for 133 yards. Marlek Lamb from Dodge County leads the league in rushing with 576 yards.
Jefferson County and Southeast Bulloch played the most contested game in the league this week, with Jefferson County eventually emerging with a 32-29 victory. Harold Steveson in the win.
