The Ogemaw Heights Falcons lost against the Roscommon Bucks back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Ogemaw Heights was dealt a 52-24 loss at the hands of Roscommon. Ogemaw Heights was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-6.
Leading Roscommon to victory were Zoey Kauffman and Alexis Carper. Kauffman scored 13 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals, while Carper scored 22 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Nemiah Carper, who scored 4 points.
Ogemaw Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Roscommon, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ogemaw Heights will take on Bay City Western at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Roscommon, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Northern Michigan Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
