The Frontier Academy Wolverines can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They strolled past The Pinnacle with points to spare, taking the game 64-46. This was payback for Frontier Academy, who suffered a 68-29 loss the last time these two teams met.
Jackson Steward was a one-man wrecking crew for Frontier Academy as he dropped a double-double on 28 points and 16 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Robles, who scored 16 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
Frontier Academy's victory bumped their record up to 1-3. As for The Pinnacle, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Frontier Academy will square off against Alamosa at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for The Pinnacle, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bishop Machebeuf at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Bishop Machebeuf focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Saturday.
