Riverfield Academy extended the longest winning streak in MAIS AA District 3 this week by beating Prairie View Academy, 54-0. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Raiders.
Glenbrook made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 9,620 from 10,304. The improvement was largely due to a 40-26 victory over West Memphis Christian last week.
Regan Edwards threw for 152 yards and 3 touchdowns. He was 9-14 with 1 interception.
Triston Sanders was the best wideout in the league this week as the Apaches topped the Black Knights. Sanders racked up 2 receptions for 65 yards. Jacob White helped Glenbrook's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 50 yards.
Glenbrook's Edwards and White led the league in both passing and receiving yards. Edwards has thrown for 1,531 yards this season, while White, a 5-foot-9 receiver, has 17 catches for 320 yards. River Oaks's Drake Porter leads the league in rushing yards with 506.
Riverfield Academy led MAIS AA District 3 in scoring this week after putting up 54 points on the Spartans.
