Stockton Christian was led to victory by Brandon Williams and Jayden Chamblee. Williams scored 23 points, while Chamblee scored 22 points. Chamblee continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Sam Weaver was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
When it comes to explaining why Vanguard College Prep lost on Thursday, one person who can't be blamed is Desmond Taylor. Despite the final result, he scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Michael Muriithi, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.
Stockton Christian pushed their record up to 11-5 with that win, which was their eighth straight at home.
