The Zillah Leopards won the last time they faced the Toppenish Wildcats, and things went their way on Friday too. Zillah came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 45-38. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Zillah.
Toppenish lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Viviana Hernandez, who scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tatiana Camacho, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and three blocks.
Zillah is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Toppenish, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8.
Zillah does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Toppenish also has no future games currently scheduled.
