Brimfield has gone a perfect 3-0 against Macomb recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Indians will challenge the Bombers at 4:30 p.m. Brimfield will be looking to extend their current 18-game winning streak.

Brimfield's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They walked away with a 4-0 victory over Mercer County. That's two games straight that the Indians have won by exactly four runs.

The result came thanks to Schyer Meinders's shutout, as she gave up just six hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kendyl Binder, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Meanwhile, Macomb posted their closest win since March 28th on Monday. They won by a run and slipped past Illini West 1-0.

Macomb saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lauren Bishop, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Brimfield's victory was their 23rd straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 27-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.6 runs on average over those games. As for Macomb, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-18.

Macomb's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Brimfield hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .354. It's a different story for Macomb, though, as they've only averaged .256. Will they be able to contain Brimfield's hitters?

Everything went Brimfield's way against Macomb when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Brimfield made off with a 14-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
