The WestSide Renegades scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 62-37 margin over River View. The win was familiar territory for WestSide who now have six in a row.
Despite the defeat, River View saw an underclassman step up: Chasity Kennedy scored 15 points along with six rebounds and six steals. Kennedy is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last ten games she's played.
WestSide pushed their record up to 9-5 with that win, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.7 points per game. As for River View, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-5.
WestSide will head out on the road to face off against the Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully River View focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Friday. As for they, they will be playing at home against Meadow Bridge at 7:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in West Virginia (Meadow Bridge is ranked 81st, while the Raiders are ranked 65th).
