The Pratt Greenbacks will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Hoisington Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Last Tuesday, Pratt came up short against the Dragons and fell 55-45.
Meanwhile, Hoisington lost to the Swathers at home by a decisive 53-36 margin on Tuesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Hoisington has scored all season.
Despite their defeat, Hoisington saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Kelsi Maier, who scored eight points, was perhaps the best of all.
Pratt's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5-3. As for Hoisington, their loss dropped their record down to 9-4.
Pratt was able to grind out a solid victory over the Cardinals when the teams last played back in February of 2023, winning 37-29. Does Pratt have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cardinals turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
