The River Bluff Gators came out on top in a nail-biter against the White Knoll Timberwolves, sneaking past 48-45 thanks in part to Cromer, who went 10 of 19 on his way to 27 points and three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played.
Despite the defeat, White Knoll saw an underclassman step up: freshman Bryson Schofield dropped a double-double on 20 points and 15 boards. Schofield is becoming a predictor of White Knoll's success: when he posts at least ten rebounds the team is 3-1 (and 5-6 when he doesn't).
