The Awaken Christian Lions can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent game on Thursday. They blew past Adelson 73-37 at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Awaken Christian.
Awaken Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Abel Sebsebie, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Jaylen Jordan, who scored 20 points.
Awaken Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for Adelson, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Awaken Christian will square off against the Centurions at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Founders Classical Academy has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since January 10. Adelson is on the road again on Tuesday and plays the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on February 6th.
