Cornerstone Christian Academy suffered their biggest loss since November 28, 2023 on Thursday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 60-36 walloping at the hands of Yavneh Academy. Cornerstone Christian Academy has not had much luck with Yavneh Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Meanwhile, Bishop Gorman had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They pulled ahead with a 1-0 photo finish over Lone Star North. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Bishop Gorman has scored all season.
Cornerstone Christian Academy's defeat was their 11th straight at home, which bumped their record down to 2-12. As for Bishop Gorman, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season.
