Underclassman Araceli Altamirano came into Monday's match looking to prove herself and that's exactly what she did. She wasn't messing around on Monday, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 11 over four innings pitched. The pitching appearance was her sixth straight with eight or more strikeouts.
