Putnam City was handed a 22-point loss in their previous outing, but they didn't let that bad energy affect their game against Ada on Saturday. Putnam City sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 52-49 win over Ada. The win was just what Putnam City needed coming off of a 58-36 defeat in their prior matchup.
Grant bumped their record down to 0-13 with that loss, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Putnam City, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10.
