The St. John Lutheran Saints had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Hart 2 Hart Academy by a score of 41-33 on Monday. The win was just what St. John Lutheran needed coming off of a 64-41 loss in their prior contest.
St. John Lutheran's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cage Patrick, who scored 16 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Bryce Disimile, who scored nine points along with two blocks.
St. John Lutheran's victory bumped their record up to 3-13. As for Hart 2 Hart Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.
St. John Lutheran will head out on the road to square off against HEART HomeSchool at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in HEART HomeSchool's favor as the team sits on eight straight wins at home while St. John Lutheran has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road. Hart 2 Hart Academy will take on Westwood Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Westwood Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 last Friday.
