The West Davidson Dragons entered their contest against the South Davidson Wildcats on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. West Davidson took a 14-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of South Davidson. West Davidson lost against South Davidson in their previous head to head back in October of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 30-7 score last time.
Brooks Calderone threw for 99 yards and a touchdown. Caleb Broom was his top target, picking up 31 receiving yards and a touchdown. On the ground, Joseph Baker rushed for 96 yards.
South Davidson had a senior duo take command as Tanner Delattre rushed for 112 yards and a touchdown and Peyton Davis rushed for 82 yards and a touchdown.
West Davidson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for South Davidson, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-6.
West Davidson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. South Davidson is also done with their season.
