Alameda's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Everything went their way against the Addenbrooke Classical Academy Mustangs as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

While Alameda might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Addenbrooke Classical Academy scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-20, 25-22.

Colin Nguyen paced Alameda's offense, picking up 11 kills. Nguyen got some help from Damien Ransdell and his 18 assists. Uriel Quezada controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Alameda's win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Addenbrooke Classical Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season.

Alameda didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against D'Evelyn on the 28th. As for Addenbrooke Classical Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against DSST: Conservatory Green on the 26th.
