Landon Vega went supernova for Somerset Academy Central Miramar, going 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 20 points and 4 assists. That's the first time this season that Vega scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Joshua Petit, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.
Somerset Academy Central Miramar's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for International Studies, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Somerset Academy Central Miramar will take on Carol City at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. International Studies on the road again on Monday and play against Varsity Opponent at 3:30 p.m. on January 29th.
