Salinas has gone 8-2 against Everett Alvarez recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Cowboys will welcome the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Salinas 2.6, Everett Alvarez 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Salinas barely beat Palma the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cowboys never let the Chieftains get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Wednesday. The Cowboys might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Kelsie Domenighini, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jessica Cisneros, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI.
Salinas was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .519. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Palma only posted a batting average of .125.
Meanwhile, Everett Alvarez had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.6 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Wednesday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Haybalers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted against the Haybalers since March 13, 2018.
Dani Amendola spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on five hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 20 consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Everett Alvarez's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Michelle Wallace, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
Salinas has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Everett Alvarez, their win bumped their record up to 14-8.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Friday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Salinas has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.8 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Everett Alvarez struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 10.4 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Salinas was able to grind out a solid victory over Everett Alvarez in their previous matchup back in April, winning 3-0. Do the Cowboys have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
