Chatfield's game  on Tuesday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Wednesday. They walked away with  a   7-3  win over the Kasson-Mantorville Komets.
 Brynn Horsman was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with one  home run, two  runs,  and one  stolen base. That  home run was  her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Makenna Dornack, who  went 1-for-3 with one  home run and two  RBI.
 They weren't the only ones working in the  home run department: Chatfield  lost a few balls and  finished the game with two  home runs. That's the most  home runs they've posted since back in April.
Chatfield's record is now 14-4. As for Kasson-Mantorville, they moved to 9-7 with that  defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
 Chatfield and Kasson-Mantorville should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage  in the MaxPreps Minnesota Rankings. The Gophers (ranked 28th) will meet Lake City (ranked 112th)  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Meanwhile,  Kasson-Mantorville will  challenge  Red Wing  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday with a big rank  advantage  (97 vs. 226).
