After a disappointing six points in their last game, Wilmot/Waubay/Summit made sure to put some points up on the board against Great Plains Lutheran two weeks ago. Wilmot/Waubay/Summit took their contest against Great Plains Lutheran by a conclusive 42-13 score. Wilmot/Waubay/Summit were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Last Friday, Webster put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season. Everything came up roses for them against Florence/Henry as the squad secured a 58-8 win. With Webster ahead 30-8 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Their wins bumped Webster to 5-2 and Wilmot/Waubay/Summit to 3-4. In their victory, Webster relied heavily on junior Braden Holland, who rushed for 182 yards and 2 touchdowns. Wilmot/Waubay/Summit will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
