Wake County HomeSchool came out on top against TEACH Homeschool on Saturday thanks in part to Sean Darrigrand's efforts. Darrigrand pitched five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Darrigrand and Wake County HomeSchool will face off against John Paul II Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
