Parkway Center City and Strawberry Mansion are an even 4-4 against one another since February of 2015, but not for long. The Parkway Center City Bulldogs' road trip will continue as they head out to face the Strawberry Mansion Knights at 3:15 p.m. on January 25th. Hopefully Parkway Center City focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Tuesday.
Parkway Center City suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 63-25 loss at the hands of Sayre. Parkway Center City was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-8.
Despite their loss, Parkway Center City saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Jaden McKnight, who scored three points along with 14 rebounds and four steals, was perhaps the best of all. McKnight is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's played. Kameron Fortune was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Strawberry Mansion pushed their score all the way to 59 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 67-59 to Vaux Big Picture.
Parkway Center City's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Strawberry Mansion, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.
Parkway Center City couldn't quite finish off Strawberry Mansion when the teams last played back in January of 2023 and fell 52-49. Can Parkway Center City avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
