Fernandina Beach took their contest at home on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 56-20 victory over Parker. With Fernandina Beach ahead 37-7 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Fernandina Beach's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Savina Wells led the charge by dropping a double-double on 21 points and 15 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Naslynn Morris, who scored 9 points along with 8 rebounds and 7 steals.
Fernandina Beach now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Parker, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fernandina Beach will take on Fletcher at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Parker will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Raines at 7:00 p.m. on November 30th.
