The Community Christian Academy Ambassadors lost against the Jefferson Davis Academy Raiders back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Community Christian Academy fell to the Raiders 51-45. Community Christian Academy has struggled against the Raiders recently, as their contest on Thursday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Several Ambassadors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Caleb Ramsey, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Kilpatrick, who scored eight points.
Colson Loadholt was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 34 points and nine rebounds for Jefferson Davis Academy. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Loadholt has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Nasir Void, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.
Community Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Jefferson Davis Academy, their win bumped their record up to 6-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Community Christian Academy will take on the Raiders at 7:10 p.m. on Tuesday. Jefferson Davis Academy is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 50.2 points per game this season. As for they, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against South Aiken Baptist Christian at 6:30 p.m. on January 26th.
