Bishop O'Connell is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Quincy. The Bishop O'Connell Knights came out on top against the Quincy Blue Devils by a score of 53-46. The victory was nothing new for the Knights as they're now sitting on four straight.

Leading Bishop O'Connell to victory were Shane Lincoln and Darius Bivins. Lincoln went 6 for 11 on his way to 18 points and seven rebounds, while Bivins went 5 of 11 en route to 14 points. Lincoln is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Justin Edwards, who posted four points and three steals.

Bishop O'Connell pushed their record up to 16-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Quincy, their loss ended a 23-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 19-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop O'Connell will challenge St. John's at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bishop O'Connell is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.3 points per game this season. As for Quincy, they will face off against Galesburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
