The Shenandoah Zeps won the last time they faced the Cambridge Bobcats, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Shenandoah breezed by Cambridge at home to the tune of 63-28. The win made it back-to-back wins for Shenandoah.
Shenandoah's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kinsley Brown led the charge by scoring 16 points along with seven assists and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Brown has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Brylee May, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds.
Shenandoah's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-12. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Cambridge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season.
Shenandoah will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Garaway at 7:00 p.m. on February 21st. As for Cambridge, they will head out on the road to square off against Meadowbrook at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
