The Pleasant Grove Hawks had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They took their contest on the road on Thursday with ease, bagging a 63-10 victory over Caddo Mills. Pleasant Grove's win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Pleasant Grove's victory bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Caddo Mills, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.
Pleasant Grove will head out on the road to face off against Carthage at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Carthage is on a seven-game streak of home wins, Pleasant Grove a nine-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the field. Caddo Mills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
