The Hannah-Pamplico Raiders were the 31-26 winner over the Aynor Blue Jackets when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. Hannah-Pamplico ended up on the wrong side of a tough 51-26 walloping at the hands of Aynor on Thursday. Hannah-Pamplico has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Hannah-Pamplico's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jermaine Thompkins, who scored 8 points.
Manny Frink was the offensive standout of the contest as he dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamarion Mitchel, who scored 6 points.
Hannah-Pamplico's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Aynor, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hannah-Pamplico will take on East Clarendon at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. East Clarendon and Hannah-Pamplico are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Aynor, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Green Sea Floyds at 7:45 p.m. on December 8th.
