St. Clair has won six straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Saline has won six straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Saturday. The Saints will welcome the Hornets at 1:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (St. Clair 2.7, Saline 1.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
St. Clair's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. Everything went their way against Utica Eisenhower as they made off with a 12-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Saints, who have now won eight matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Gracie Pickelhaupt made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Those 11 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, Maliyah Smith was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one triple the last three times she's played. Madisyn Treat was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
St. Clair kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in five consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Saline faced Northville in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Hornets came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 3-0.
Reese Rupert was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That home run was her first of the season.
St. Clair's victory bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Saline, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. St. Clair has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11.7 hits per game. However, it's not like Saline struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 2.3 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
