Make it six blowout wins for the Inland Lakes Bulldogs this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Pellston 83-49 at home. The victory was nothing new for Inland Lakes as they're now sitting on three straight.
Inland Lakes had a senior duo take command as Connor Wallace scored 25 points along with seven assists and five rebounds and Sam Schoonmaker dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. Schoonmaker has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Fenstermaker, who scored 15 points along with six blocks and two steals.
Inland Lakes is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Pellston, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
Inland Lakes will head out on the road to face off against the Ironmen at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Mancelona will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive. Pellston will take on the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Bellaire presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Hornets in Michigan (the Eagles are ranked 246th, while the Hornets are ranked 686th).
