The DuSable Panthers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 79-46 victory over Gage Park. DuSable has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 20 points or more this season.
DuSable's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jesse Suggs, who scored 22 points along with eight rebounds. That's the first time this season that Suggs scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Patrick Malone, who scored 17 points.
DuSable pushed their record up to 7-3 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.5 points per game. As for Gage Park, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
DuSable will be playing at home against Kelly at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
