Warhill was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Tabb on Tuesday. Those 11 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-6 with two runs and one double.
In other batting news, Payton Auerbach - GMU was incredible, going 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Keamani Fujimoto, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with three runs, two RBI, and one double.
Warhill was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tabb only posted a batting average of .048.
Warhill's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Tabb, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.
