The Globe Tigers will venture away from home to take on the Palo Verde Titans at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Globe will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
Globe lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Coolidge, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's matchup. The Tigers blew past the Bears 14-7 on Tuesday. Considering the Tigers have won six games by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Sir Sneezy made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. Sneezy was also stellar in the batter's box, going 4-for-5 with one home run, six RBI, and one double. Those six RBI gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Braden Wager was a standout: he went 3-for-5 with three runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Globe is 2-1 when Wager posts three or more hits, but 5-9 otherwise. Markitos Franco was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.
Globe kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Palo Verde). They were the clear victors by a 14-2 margin over Valley Lutheran on Wednesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Titans as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.
Globe's record is now 7-10. As for Palo Verde, their record now sits at 6-8.
Everything went Globe's way against Palo Verde in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, as Globe made off with a 12-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
